Includes letters patent from the U.S. Patent Office, Nov. 2, 1875, to Oliver H. Moulton, Lowell, Mass.; Laura S. Damon, Albany, Vt., administratrix of Alexander M. Damon, deceased; and Israel L.G. Rice, Cambridge, Mass., for improvement in warpers. Also includes letter dated Sept. 23, 1907, from Thomas Walsh, Lowell, Mass., to Moulton's daughter, Alice Moulton Bartlett; Walsh was an associate of Oliver Moulton at the Hamilton Manufacturing Co. and writes a sympathy letter at the time of Moulton's death. A second letter, dated Sept. 4, 1959, from May Moulton Chadwick, Naples, N.Y., is addressed to her niece, Harriett Moulton Bartlett, Cambridge, Mass., and includes information about the Hamilton Print Works.
